Town Bank President & CEO Jay Mack Named Among 275 Most Influential Executives in Wisconsin By BizTimes Milwaukee

Milwaukee – December 14, 2022
– Wintrust Commercial Banking at Town Bank, N.A., the Wisconsin-based commercial banking unit of Wintrust, is proud to announce that President and CEO Jay Mack has been included in BizTimes Milwaukee’s inaugural “Wisconsin 275: The State’s Most Influential Business Leaders” ranking. Jay’s leadership of Wintrust Commercial Banking at Town Bank has helped Wintrust become Milwaukee’s Bank™ and a key partner for Wisconsin’s most influential businesses and business leaders.

The ‘”Wisconsin 275” highlights the best of Wisconsin through an engaging, personal look at the people who make the state such a powerful economic force. The inaugural list is the result of a year-long initiative undertaken by BizTimes Media. Executives were selected based on extensive contacts in regional business circles, numerous interviews, and research, resulting in a highly-selective biographical guide to the state’s business power brokers.

A seasoned banking industry veteran, Mack has been a part of the Town Bank family since the bank’s inception in 1998. During his nearly 25-year tenure, Mack’s leadership has contributed to significant growth, earning him statewide recognition in the process.

“I am thrilled to be honored among so many incredible people and grateful for the opportunities that Wintrust and Town Bank have afforded me to engage with Wisconsin’s amazing business community,” Mack said. “I’m proud that Town Bank’s unrelenting focus on serving our clients has helped build our positive reputation throughout Wisconsin and I look forward to keeping the momentum rolling in 2023 alongside our incredible team and backed by the leadership at Wintrust.”

In addition to his work expanding the bank’s relationship-centric services to new middle-market businesses across the state, Mack has built Town Bank into a community fixture focused on supporting southeastern Wisconsin’s growth and economic development. He was also instrumental in establishing the bank’s state-of-the-art state headquarters for commercial banking in downtown Milwaukee in 2018.

As one of Wisconsin's core commercial banking institutions, Wintrust Commercial Banking at Town Bank has contributed to ongoing business success in the Racine, Kenosha, and Madison markets, with the ability to meet the evolving needs of middle-market businesses, commercial real estate developers, and larger corporations across the state. Mack’s leadership continues to drive Wintrust’s commercial banking growth throughout the state, with further expansion plans in place for several key markets across Wisconsin, including Green Bay, Oshkosh, and Appleton in the Fox Valley, as well as Madison, Stevens Point, and Wausau, among others.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mack's community investment and commitment to giving back to his home state has deep roots and extends well beyond the confines of his work at Town Bank. He is a passionate volunteer with several local organizations and puts his leadership skills to work serving on the board with Near West Side Partners, Wisconsin Bankers Association, Impact Seven, Seton Catholic Schools and the Waukesha County Center for Growth.
