Wintrust Commercial Banking Expansion Continues with the Addition of Zachary Zavich as Vice President, Middle Market Banking

DENVER, CO — April 2024 — Wintrust is proud to announce the expansion of its Denver Commercial Banking team with the addition of Zachary Zavich as Vice President, Commercial Banking. Zac brings substantial industry knowledge to Wintrust, working with middle-market, privately held, and private equity-backed operating companies. By providing exceptional advisory services and high-touch customer service, Zac will focus on adding high-quality assets to drive revenue growth and profitability.

“Zac’s substantial experience and knowledge of the Denver Middle Market will help us further our mission to provide outstanding service to meet our clients’ needs,” said Justin Carter, Colorado Middle Market Team Lead. “He has the business-minded focus and collaborative, entrepreneurial approach that fits in perfectly with Wintrust, and will bring significant value to our team and our clients as we continue to build out our presence here in Denver.”

Prior to joining Wintrust, Zac was in the middle market lending space with a local regional bank where he was responsible for the sourcing, relationship management, and structuring of complex debt financing transactions to middle market companies. His expertise in the debt financing space — primarily in acquisition finance, cash flow lending, and other complex transactions — has created value for multiple operating companies that participate in various key industry verticals. Zac started his career at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on capital management and liquidity strategies for the firm’s excess capital.

“I am very excited to be joining Wintrust. They have demonstrated a continued focus on providing clients the highest quality service and the products that they need to continue to grow their businesses,” said Zac. “I am looking forward to continuing to help the team here in Denver grow the Wintrust brand through community support, strategic networking, and business development here in the region.”

Zac is actively involved with various nonprofit organizations within the community. He is a board member of A Precious Child and is a member of other leadership-focused programs in Denver, including Leadership 20 and Impact Denver.
