DENVER, CO – Oct 2021 – Wintrust is proud to announce the expansion of its Commercial Real Estate team, starting with the hire of Andy Kolos as Colorado President. Wintrust Commercial Real Estate, CO, will be headquartered in Denver, but will serve the needs of the broader Colorado market, including the Front Range and mountain communities.

Wintrust Commercial Real Estate will work with developers, investors and property managers that are looking for flexible lending solutions and various length term loans. Clients of Wintrust can expect lending solutions for buying or refinancing commercial buildings, financing upcoming construction projects and rehab loans, bridge loans and value-add projects. The group also has extensive working knowledge in the construction and ownership of retail centers, office developments, industrial and warehouse spaces, multifamily properties, self-storage and senior housing.

For the past 11 years, Kolos has been actively engaged in all facets of commercial real estate banking in the Denver community. Previously with BBVA USA, Mr. Kolos built a substantial commercial real estate portfolio with Denver based sponsors, which was diversified across office, multifamily, industrial, retail, with a focus on construction lending. He specializes in banking and debt markets, relationship building, and commercial real estate underwriting and market analysis.

In addition to traditional lending services, Wintrust will also provide access to a full suite of treasury management products and services, private wealth management, syndications and capital markets and commercial banking.
