Eduardo Aldana is Vice President of Community Development at Wintrust Bank, where he specializes in deploying capital to advance affordable housing and community development across the Midwest and Southwest Florida. His work spans Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI), and Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC), and he also provides guidance on structuring LIHTC and NMTC debt transactions to ensure alignment between investment and lending solutions. Eduardo was instrumental in formalizing the Wintrust Community Development group in early 2025 and continues to scale its platform, building on his earlier work originating and managing CRA investments at Wintrust, where he helped pioneer several initiatives and expanded the portfolio to more than $650 million. He began his career in 2019 at Old Second Bank (formerly West Suburban Bank) as a commercial underwriter for C&I and CRE loans, where he also helped build and graduate from the bank’s commercial loan officer training program.
