John McKinnon is chairman and CEO of Wintrust Commercial Banking. Previously, he served as president and CEO of Wintrust Commercial Banking from 2010 to 2020. John is a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College and the University of Iowa. After completing his education, he began work in the Commercial Bank Training Program at American National Bank and worked for its successor banks, retiring from JPMorgan Chase in 2009.
