Mobile FAQs

What version of the operating system do I need for the new iBusinessBanking™ mobile app?
Wintrust provides support for iBusinessBanking™ mobile when used on smartphone and tablet devices running the following Apple and Android operating systems:  latest 2 major operating system versions, not including early release Betas.   If you are running older releases of iOS or Android OS, we recommend you update your operating system to a supported release.

How do I update the current version of the iBusinessBanking™ mobile app to the updated version?
You can upgrade your mobile banking app the same way as you have for previous app upgrades.  We recommend that you enable your device’s auto-app update setting to receive the app upgrade as soon as it becomes available to you.

You can also manually update your mobile banking app when the upgrade becomes available. This requires you to download the upgraded app from the Apple® App Store® or Google™ Play Store™.   If you do not upgrade to the new iBusinessBanking™ app, you will receive an error message asking you to upgrade your app to the latest mobile banking app.

Will my current login Company ID, User Name and Password work with the new iBusinessBanking™ mobile app?
Yes, you can use your current credentials to sign on to the new mobile banking app.

Does the iBusinessBanking™ mobile app support tablets such as iPad?
Yes, the iBusinessBanking™ mobile app supports both iOS and Android smartphone devices and market leading tablet devices.

Does the new iBusinessBanking™ mobile app support international use?
iBusinessBanking™ is not currently intended for international use, and therefore international access cannot be guaranteed.

Are there current mobile banking app features that are no longer included in the new iBusinessBanking™ mobile app?
Some features such as ATM and branch location search as well as help functions are not currently supported in the new mobile app.

What other changes will I see after the go-live date?
On the first login after the go-live date, each iBusinessBanking™ user will need to agree to the terms and conditions before they can login to iBusinessBanking™ online and iBusinessBanking™ mobile.

How do the tokens work with Biometric enabled?
When Biometrics is enabled, the token will not be required to log in to the iBusiness Banking application. A user may still receive step-up authentication, but they will not need their token to log in. The token requirement for approvals will remain in place. Users will still be prompted to enter token information when approving money movement transactions.

Desktop FAQs

Will the dashboard/Welcome page still have panels?
Yes, the dashboard panels have also been re-designed in the new application. Users may need to re-configure their Dashboard the first time they log in to the new application.

Will the accounts currently selected for a user’s dashboard be migrated over to the new landing page?
No. Users may need to re-configure their Dashboard the first time they log in to the new application. To add accounts to the Dashboard, the user must click on the Display Options wheel and select the accounts they would like displayed on the Dashboard.

When will the current i-BusinessBanking™ user interface be updated?
The new iBusiness Banking user experience is being deployed in phases to all customers starting in August 2021. The Bank will selectively entitle all companies to the new iBusiness Banking user interface prior to the mass enablement date of February 6, 2023.

Can I toggle between the current application and the new user interface?
No, you will not be able to toggle between the old and new user interfaces.

Will there be any impact to users?
None of the existing functionality is changing, so users can continue to access the current features in the same way. However, navigation to and through these pages may be different.

Are there any functional enhancements included in this update?
No, all existing services and functionality within the application will remain the same.

Will users on laptops and tablets with smaller screens have the same experience as traditional desktop and laptop users?
Yes. The new i-BusinessBanking has a responsive, touch-centric design that provides a great experience regardless of the device you’re on.

Will the new user interface display on my mobile devices?
Yes. The new i-BusinessBanking interface has a responsive, touch-centric design that will display when using the mobile web. 

Is there a limit to the number of accounts that can be displayed on the Welcome page?
No, there is not a limit for the number of accounts that can be displayed.

Will users still have access to searchable history, including transactions and statements?
Yes, there is no impact to the retention of transaction data or statements. Your current history settings will be maintained as contracted with your bank.

Will a user’s alerts, email, and text convert to the new user interface and be set up the same?
Yes, there is no impact to the existing alerts that are already configured.

Will customers with current FTP setups need to be modified?
No, there is no impact to current customer FTP setups.

Will there be any impact to our current single sign on (SSO) integrations?
No, there is no impact to current SSO integrations.

Will users be able to search for more than 90 days of transaction history in a single search?
No, the inability to search for more than 90 days of transaction history in a single search has not been changed.

Will the current templates for ACH, wire, and transfers be converted to the new user interface?
Yes, there is no impact to existing templates or data saved in the underlying system database.

Will recurring transactions (ACH, internal transfers) be converted to the new user interface?
Yes, there is no impact to existing recurring transactions or data saved in the underlying system database.

Can users still search completed transactions (ACH/wires) from the old system once they are on the new user interface?
Yes, there is no impact to completed transactions or data saved in the underlying system database.

Will a user’s favorites be carried over to the new interface?
Yes, all saved favorites and reports will be carried forward into the new i-BusinessBanking user interface.

Will the supported browsers change?
The platform will continue to support Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox, with Chrome and Edge being the preferred browsers. Microsoft Internet Explorer is no longer supported.
