Wintrust’s Southside Showdown (“Sponsor”) Official Sweepstakes Rules

1. NO PURCHASE OR BANK TRANSACTION NECESSARY TO ENTER. A purchase or transaction does not increase your chances of winning. Need not be a customer of Wintrust Financial Corporation to enter; becoming a customer will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.    

2. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age (except in the case of residents of jurisdictions where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen [18] years, such legal age of majority) or older at the time of entry. Sweepstakes not open to residents of FL, NY, or RI. Employees of Wintrust Financial Corporation, the Chicago White Sox, Ltd. (“White Sox”), the MLB Entities (as defined below), and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the sweepstakes are not eligible to participate. The “MLB Entities” shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the foregoing entities.

3. To enter: Sweepstakes begins on 6/11/2025 and ends on 7/2/2025 (‘sweepstakes period’). Participants may visit wintrust.com/southsideshowdown during the sweepstakes period to submit 1 sweepstakes entry. Or, to enter the sweepstakes without obligation, complete the entry form with all requested information and mail to 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018 by 11:59 p.m. on 7/2/2025. Not responsible for late entries. One entry per form; limit 1 entry per person.

4. Prize: One prize will be awarded. Winner will receive two (2) tickets for winner and one (1) guest to the Chicago White Sox home game currently scheduled to take place on July 27, 2025 at Rate Field and one (1) Chicago White Sox jersey with an estimated retail value of $300. Tickets will be delivered to email address provided upon sweepstakes entry and the jersey will be provided via mail to address provided.

5. Prize restrictions: Prizes are non-transferable. Federal, state and local taxes, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The estimated retail value of each prize is $300; and prizes are not IRS 1099-INT reportable. Winners may make no substitution/transfer of prize. Limit 1 prize per person.

Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see whitesox.com/ticketback for details. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winner’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in his/her(their) jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Winner and his/her guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations in connection with the prize; see whitesox.com/ballpark for details. Sponsor and the MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or his/her guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Sponsor and the MLB Entities will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket. 

6. Drawing: 7/10/2025. Prizewinners will be determined from entries. Determination will be conducted at 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018.

7. Odds: Odds of being selected as a sweepstakes winner will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8. Winner Notification/Prize Awards: Winner will be notified by phone by 7/10/2025 and does not need to be present to win. Winner may need to submit information confirming their eligibility. Upon notification, the selected winner has 72 hours to claim a prize. After 72 hours without a response, the prize may be considered unclaimed. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded to alternate winners. For a complete list of winners, please mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to 9700 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 550, Rosemont, IL 60018.

9. Additional Terms: By participating, entrants agree: 1) the decision of the Sponsor shall be final in all respects; 2) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, the MLB Entities,  and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the sweepstakes, and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of the prize. By accepting the prize, winner agrees to, where legal, the use of their name and/or likenesses for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation or consideration.

10. Limitations of Liability: Neither Sponsor, Chicago White Sox, Ltd., nor the MLB Entities are responsible for the printing of or typographical errors in any sweepstakes-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail, or email entries; or for transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Sponsor, Chicago White Sox, Ltd., and the MLB Entities reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes. By entering the sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to (a) be bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements, and (b) waive any and all claims against Sponsor, White Sox, MLB Entities, Twitter, Inc., Facebook, Inc., Apple, Inc., LinkedIn, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other company associated with the sweepstakes, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the sweepstakes, receipt or use of the prize (or any portion thereof), or any travel or activity related thereto. By entering the sweepstakes, each entrant gives his/her express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by telephone, email, and/or postal mail for sweepstakes purposes. The parent/guardian of the Winner, by acceptance of the prize, grants to Sponsor, and each of their respective designees the right to publicize his/her name, city and state of residence, prize information, photograph, voice, statements, and/or other likeness for advertising, promotional, trade, and any other purpose, in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation and without further compensation, consideration, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law.
